In the third quarter of 2024, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on Android in Latin America showed varied performance trends, as revealed by Sensor Tower's comprehensive data analysis.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a robust presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 452K and 520K. The app's weekly active users also showed resilience, increasing from approximately 24.2M to 25M over the quarter.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides exhibited a significant upward trend in downloads, peaking at around 646K in early September. The app's weekly active user base grew steadily from 7.9M to 8.5M, highlighting its growing popularity among users.

inDrive. Save on city rides experienced consistent download numbers, ranging from 370K to 425K per week. The app's active user count remained stable, fluctuating between 9.1M and 10.5M, demonstrating a loyal user base.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver saw a decline in weekly downloads, dropping from 262K to 161K. However, its active user numbers remained largely unchanged, hovering around 2.8M.

Yango — different from a taxi had weekly downloads between 173K and 243K, with active users increasing slightly from 562K to 561K by the end of the quarter.
